Visual Concept and Graphic Design for Corações Leões, João Calabar’s second album. The project includes the launch of two singles, leading into the full Side A and Side B of the record.

The project’s first release debuted Friday, January 12, 2024

Released less than a year after his debut Epifania, the project explores poetic narratives of an emerging love; intense, vulnerable, and fleeting; through a musical landscape that moves between bossa nova, brega, Alagoan folk traditions, and indie. Conceived in an LP format, the album unfolds in two sides, reflecting the rise and the emotional turbulence of this relationship.

The project opens with the first single Meu Bem Chegou. Its visual language is guided by warmth and light, translating the idea of affection emerging like the arrival of summer and setting the emotional tone of the album.
Side A introduces the album’s emotional universe through the emergence of a new love. Guided by warmth, lightness, and openness, the songs evoke the feeling of summer arriving; desire in bloom, affection unfolding, and moments suspended in brightness. Sonically and visually, this side embraces luminosity and fluidity, translating the optimism and intensity of a love just beginning.
Daniel is the second single, following Meu Bem Chegou. Built around restraint and intimacy, its minimal visual language uses light, framing and silence to hold emotion in suspension, letting vulnerability emerge with subtlety.
Side B closes the cycle with a more restrained visual approach. The imagery becomes denser and contemplative, reflecting the remnants, instabilities and emotional weight left by a love fully experienced.
